Little Boracay

Summer has always been my favorite season. It means happy times, good sunshine and having fun. In the hot summer months, a perfect way to cool down while enjoying a delicious, fruity treat is to go the beach. Luckily we have plenty summer destinations here in the Philippines and I am happy to explore this place called "Little Boracay".

Katungkulan Beach Resort (Boracay de Cavite) is a small cove located inside Gregorio Lim Marine Base in Calumpang Ternate, Cavite. It has a soft and fine grayish sand that compliments its crystal blue water. It  is open to public with facilities like rooms, picnic huts, tables, showers and parking 24/7.  Estimated travel time is 5kms away from the main gate (2 – 2 ½ hours from Manila). It is a downhill drive from the main gate at about 170 meters elevation going down to sea level.

How to get there: Pass CAVITEX. Exit Kawit. Take Centennial road towards EPZA Diversion road, Antero Soriano Highway and Governor’s drive. From the Ternate town proper drive some more for about 30 – 45 minutes through Mt. Palay-palay National Park. Gregorio Lim Marine Base is located just along the main road.

If you want to be more adventurous pitch a tent if you like. For more security and comfort of call of nature facility you can just rent small rooms . They allowed to bring your own food or grill within the beach shore if you have your own grilling stove.

  • Entrance fee is Php 100 for a day swim and Php 200 for overnight stay
  • For those who'll be staying overnight, rooms (700 Php) and cottages (350 - 450 Php)
  • free to pitch a tent and set-up a camp
  • pay parking fee - Motorcycle: 10 Php (day) / 20 Php (night), Car: 50 Php (day) / 100 Php (night).

  •

You can experience a totally different level of fun by doing different activities. Take pictures in the area like the towering stone wall on one side of the island and get your selfie/groupie moment on the other side. Indeed a perfect place this summer with your family or friends. Definitely I will go back to this place again and again.

    Geometric Accessories

Geometry is a branch of mathematics concerned with questions of shape, size, relative position of figures, and the properties of space while Accesory is a thing that can be added to something else in order to make it more useful, versatile, or attractive. http://thesmstore.com/

Let's combine geometry and accesory together to create a more fab look. Geometry can be your difficult subject but not in fashion as you know it when you see it (circles, rectangles, triangles, etc). It is commonly associated with decor and interior design but shapes and patterns have now been incorporated into a wide variety of fashion accessories. Geometric accessory becomes a statement and the next big thing taking on a vintage, more modern or futuristic look in every runway. You can be bold or minimalist by having the balance and simply following the lines. Geometric designs can add an intricate amount of detail to an ordinary outfit. Be incredibly stylish chic this season without hating your geometry class.

    Hello Summer Sun

It's officially summer and I know most of you are planning to buy and upgrade your most favorite "sunnies" to wear while you are enjoying your vacation.

But its not enough to have the latest designs of your favorite brands. Choosing the wrong pair can be you major fashion disaster that's why it is more important to know your face shape to have the suitable sunglasses for you. (sunnies by: http://thesmstore.com/ )

Choose the perfect glasses for your face shape:

SQUARE:  round or oval frames, which will help soften the lines. Glasses with defined temples will also work well for your face’s shape.

ROUND: more angular glasses that will add dimension to your face. Rectangular and oblong pairs will make your face look thinner and longer.

TRIANGULAR: semi-rimless frames that accentuate your upper face or top-heavy styles that will balance out your stronger jawline.

OBLONG: decorative temples will add width to your face, while a taller frame/rim will make your face look shorter.

OVAL: most frames will work for your face, while rectangular or abstract pairs will add angles to the soft curves in your face.
